Three Generations Committed to Quality
In 1946, Sam and Aya Kozu returned to Seattle from St. Paul, Minnesota, where they lived for several years following their incarceration in Minidoka, Idaho during WWII. Soon after Sam’s return to Seattle, an opening at Pike Place Market allowed him to rent a storefront at 1916 Pike Place (just 2 doors down from the original Starbucks Coffee). With his brother, Pete Kozu, Sam started S.K. Produce Company.

We love to order with SK produce. The produce is fresh. It is good to communicate when I order. Sometime I request some produce that they do not usually have it, they try to find it for me. If I forget something, they send someone to delivery here same day. Stacy and cadie is very nice. They always pick up the phone when we are calling in. And When I called back, they always solve the problem it immediately. The delivery always on time and they are very polite. They always be patience waiting for us to take all the recycle boxes back.
